Buying guide: Juices, Nectars & Plant-Based Drinks
Fruit drinks and nectars are everyday Mexican staples with strong demand in export markets with Mexican and Latin American communities. This category lists 51 products from 9 brands — Del Valle (17), Boing (8), Pato Pascual (7), AdeS (7), Jumex, Frutsi and others — covering 66 package listings.
Nectar, fruit drink or juice?
The words matter. Most destination markets reserve “juice” for 100% fruit juice and set minimum fruit contents for “nectar”, while products with less fruit are sold as fruit drinks. Mexican labels follow Mexican definitions, so a product sold as a nectar at home may need a different sales name abroad. We confirm the fruit content and the exact product description with each quotation.
Packages and variants
This is the category with the most published package data (38 of 51 products). Boing, for example, is listed in 200 ml and 1 L cartons and 340 ml cans for several flavours, while Frutsi and Pato Pascual appear in small single-serve bottles. Each package can have a different plant, shelf life and case configuration, so please tell us which format you need — or ask us to recommend one for your channel.
Origin, brand ownership and plant
Several brands here belong to multinational groups that also manufacture outside Mexico. Research notes flag that Del Valle products sold internationally may be made in other countries and that AdeS is produced in several countries; 40 listings are marked “plant for this item not verified”. If Mexican origin is important to your buyers, we verify it on the exact package and supply the certificate of origin.
Dairy and plant-based drinks
Dairy drinks carry stricter import controls in many countries, and plant-based drinks must declare allergens such as soy and nuts. Ask early whether your market requires a health certificate or specific registration for these products.
